Still needs work

Over all not to bad, but the workout That is logged its not added to the weekly,monthly and yearly totals. And Dont like the fact that you enter time in minutes, I have a race that could go 17 hours under the new format I couldnt enter the time. So I needs improvement already !!! Im not sure this get sent or not but I dont like inputting my workouts in minutes like I said I have a race longer than the time allowed to be in put, this needs to be fixed !!!! Other than that I like the app but wont rate it any higher until that gets fixed

Needs improvement

Bring back the old version please. Please change weekly summary view to last seven days not last eight days. It double counts my miles when you do an eight day summary. Please update and I will rate higher once improvements are made.

Updated Version

Used this app for last 4 years. I loved the basic set up, back up, etc. no glitz just a great runners log. The update, though, should enhance your product NOT take it backwards! Only allowing entries to be made for the current day is a disaster! So is only allowing total minutes of run, this is more limiting than you realize for ultra runners. PLEASE fix the two issues above ASAP! This app goes back to 5 stars with those changes.

Great app to keep track of your runs

Avg Pace

The average pace isnt being calculated correctly. Looks like youre using a simple average instead of a weighted average. If I run 9 miles at 6:00 per mile and one mile at 7:00 per mile, my average pace should be 6:06 not 6:30.

Horrible updates

Why the scrolling numbers? And now its hard to enter data for previous dates. Not happy and not using this again.

Great App!

I really like this app, but wish there was a way to switch the start date for the week from Sunday to Monday since many runners, including myself, calculate their mileage M-Su rather than Su-Sa. Its only a minor inconvenience, and doesnt make the app any less effective. Its just a personal preference.

UW runner

I honestly hate the new version of running log. The original version was much more user friendly and much more pleasing to the eye. This version is confusing and ugly. Haha but seriously its not as fun and easy to use as the original.

Old app better

New app to time consuming . Summary and weekly reports not as easy for reviewing. Have to now choose date disappointed may switch

Still getting used to the new version

Its fine, but seems less intuitive than the original. I hope it does not mysteriously lose data like the old one sometimes did.

Good got better!

Ive been using this ap for several years. I make entries daily. The revised version had a few quirks, but the tech team at WP got right on it and smoothed them out. The revisions that were made from the earlier version are good. The ap was already good, and it has now gotten better! I had difficulty importing my data from my "vintage" iPhone to my newest device, and tech support responded promptly and solved my issue.

Still shining!

This latest version of Running Log™ is just a bit better than the last. I have never had issues with the app, and use it almost exclusively for running data. I would like to be able to track mileage from different sports separately, like biking mileage, kayaking mileage, and walking mileage. If this was the next upgrade, all would be perfect. As you can tell, I like to keep running info only for running. Keep up the improvements!

Getting better!!

I like that a few items were fixed from the last update. I would still like to see tempo and progressive run added to the options for type of run. The only other thing I miss is the month summary on the home mileage page. Thank you for listening to the reviews!!!

Ok

This is a good app. I have been using it 4 or 5 years now. I like the newest update. I did not like it after the big update but they have fixed that as it makes it easier to enter my time and distance. Thank you for listening. I love this app!!

Better

I wasnt thrilled with the first update. All the scrolling and was not very user friendly compared to the initial version. The latest update brought back the typing in of the time and distance which is much more user friendly!!! The training week being displays from Sunday to Sunday needs to be fixed...should be Sunday to Saturday or Monday to Sunday

Excellent

For the most part, I like this app, although Im not as happy with the recent updated version which I find to be clumsy. I especially wish that they would link specific runs to distances, to save the redundancy of having to separately enter distances on each entry for the same run.

Update May 27th, 2015 The most recent update puts stars up to 3 and I added another because the developers are clearly paying attention to the reviewers and wants of their customers! Almost all of my complaints have been resolved with the update. The scroll wheels are gone, and you can now enter runs or rests on days other than the current one. Still missing the weekly/monthly summaries on the calendar view, bring that back and this is a 5++ star app again! -------------------------------- This was my all time favorite running apps. I absolutely loved the simplicity and user friendliness of data entry and review. Its one of the reasons I went back to Apple after a couple year hiatus, but since the update Im strongly considering going to a different app... Heres just a couple of the reasons. The scroll wheel for data entry is worthless, even for a short mile or two run its takes 2-3 times as long to enter your run. You also have to make sure you enter your run on the day you ran it because you can no longer enter runs or rest days on any other day than the current one. The summaries have now been moved exclusively to the summary tap, whereas before the update there was a weekly and monthly summary on the calendar view (by far was one of my favorite features since you could compare your months to each other while also looking at the breakdowns of quantity, spread, and mileage of each of the runs you did month to month). The new coloring is sort of cool, but thats about all the positive Ive got to say for the update.

Exactly what I needed

Simple but effective app that Ive been using the last 3 years to track my running. I like the new design. Tracks everything I could want. Has nice graphs and total stats. Would highly recommend.
